Pharmaceutics and Biopharmaceutics

Journal of Pharmaceutical Technology & Drug Research covers special section Pharmaceutics and Biopharmaceutics aims to publish innovative research in areas of pro-drug, drug design, drug stability and development. It also covers areas in physical pharmacy, drug delivery systems, control release systems and drug targets.

Prodrug

Pro-drug is a medication which is administered in a pharmacologically inactive form and then converted into active form in the biological system through metabolic process such as hydrolysis. A pro drug is a precursor compound of a drug.

Drug Delivery systems

Drug Delivery systems considers approaches in formulations and technology for transporting and delivering a pharmaceutical compound to achive desired therapeutic effect .Various drug delivery systems includes In-vitro drug release, Controlled drug delivery, Targeted drug delivery etc.

Nanotechnology

Nanotechnology studies relationship between drug formulation, drug delivery, disposition and clinical response of nano length scale size which deals with processes that occur at molecular and cellular level.
