Nobel Laureate, Herbert Charles Brown has inspired us to allure the word Herbert from his name. Herbert Publications took the motivation from his unusual advancement all through his education and untiring career regardless of the hardships he surmounted. With this inspiration, we commit at our best for the distribution of research information at global standards upholding integrity.
Herbert Publications was established in 2011 and embrace gold open access journal publishing dedicated to provide a rapid access to quality (single blinded) peer-reviewed journals covering all disciplines widely in life sciences, medical research, chemistry alongside technology and management.
In the Gold OA publishing method, the publisher charges publication cost from the author and takes complete responsibility to make the article available online permanently for free to anyone from anywhere in the world. This is a reverse process to the traditional print publishing method where the reader is charged to gain access to the published articles and obtain permission to use them. Here the publisher holds copyright over the articles whereas in open access publishing, author attains copyrights over their work.
Herbert Publications is committed to disseminate all the scholarly journal articles published immediately and maintain perpetual free online open access to all groups ranging from an author to a common reader.
Herbert Publications encourage authors to publish and retain copyright over their research work, licensing it under the Creative Commons Attribution License. It grants an irrevocable right to access, reuse and redistribution with no restriction, until the original work is credited.
Publishing process at Herbert Publications is highly constructive from manuscript submission to online publication with rapid and reliable standards. It imposes an affordable article processing charge to cover the cost of the publication process.
Herbert Publications views open access as an essential approach for the distribution of research findings to any internet user for free through overcoming the accessing barriers. Our vision is to work on developing user-friendly tools for archival storage of journals facilitating benefits to both authors and readers.
By achieving this, Herbert publications passionately commits to communicate research findings perpetually together with maintaining high level standards and integrity through stringent peer review norms.
Herbert Publications considers the reader's interest and endeavors to score widespread visibility to the published articles. The primary audience of this publication would be academicians, research scholars, graduate students, practitioners and anyone interested in research.
Anyone from anywhere in the world can access online with no restriction to read, reuse and redistribution as long as the original work is credited corresponding to Creative Commons Attribution License.
Herbert Publications provide:
Herbert Publications is concerned with the integrity of peer reviewed publications with no compromise in following COPE and ICMJE guidelines to meet high ethical standards. For Herbert Publications, the editorial board for each journal constitutes respected scientists from internationally reputed universities and dedicated to appraise the quality articles.
Herbert Publications provides independence and editorial freedom to Editors-in-Chief for all the journals and the detail of each journal's content is the responsibility of the journal editor(s) concerned.
Herbert Publications follow single blinded peer-review process and all research articles receive rapid and thorough peer review. In this process the authors names and affiliations will be revealed to the reviewers, while authors are kept blinded from reviewer details. Authors can provide suggested reviewers and disclose any competing interests.
The Editorial Office receives the article from the authors and checks for the initial plagiarism and forward the manuscript to the Editor-In-Chief for an unbiased lenient review. The Editor-In-Chief with the help of the Senior Editors allocates the manuscript to at least two reviewers or handling Editors of the same research area to undergo peer review. The reviewers or handling Editors then scrutinize the manuscript accordingly within a time frame (i.e. Three weeks for the handling editors and two weeks for the reviewers).
Acceptance or rejection of a manuscript depends on the review comments of at least two reviewers or handling Editors. The review reports received would be sent to the author for further improvisation of the manuscript. Herbert publications focus on making author comfortable in revising the manuscript before final publication. Authors would be given a time frame of about a couple of weeks to revise the manuscript for further process. Finally as the Editor-In-Chief holds the supreme position in a journal, the final approval for publication would be given within six weeks from the date of submission.
