His research interest focuses on bio-organic chemistry, peptide and peptidomimetic chemistry, structure-guided drug design, protein-protein interaction and enzyme inhibitor design.

Dr. Luis A. Marky
is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Nebraska Medical Center, USA. His research interests focuses on biophysical chemistry and focus on the molecular forces that control the conformational stability and flexibility of nucleic acids, including Okazaki fragments, hairpin loops, intramolecular triplexes, G-quadruplexes, C-quadruplexes, and three-& four-arm DNA junctions and their interaction with drugs.
