The addition of fantasy sports is the latest expansion of ATG's range following a regulatory change in Sweden in 2019, and the first time a major operator has launched a Stockholm-registered Scout product in the Swedish market.
"I am very happy to be able to launch our fantasy sports product on ATG.se, thus reaching a wider base of potential players than ever before," said Joakim Renman, Commercial Director of Scout Gaming.
"In a short time ATG has established itself as very agile in expanding its range of new products. So it's no surprise that they have now seized the opportunity to be the first to pioneer the rapidly evolving trend in fantasy sports."
Scout Gaming said that the agreement is expected to have a moderate to strong impact on its revenue from the second half of 2021. It cited figures indicating that ATG has the largest share of the overall Swedish gaming market in 2019, attracting more than 1.3 million customers.
"We are trying to constantly offer our customers new and exciting experiences and are looking to add fantasy sports, which we hope will be a key vertical offering to promote ATG," Christian Erlandsson, ATG's head of sports betting, told the Swedish portal https://svenskaspelsajter24.com/.
"We are seeing this format of the game become popular worldwide and we believe that Swedish customers will also appreciate this exciting product. With our nearly 50 years of experience in offering pool games and our recent expansion into sports betting, we believe we have prepared ourselves for the successful introduction of daily fantasy sports to the Swedish sports audience."
