Your computer or router should have an IP address 192.168.1.1 which is referred to as an IP address or internet protocol address (IP address). An IP address is simply a number, it is not a name like the name of a person or a company. If you were to log on to the internet using your computer and key in the IP address 192.168.1.1, you would enter this machine's unique IP address. Now if you were to log on to the internet from an IP address different from the one you used previously, you would see two different pages on the page that are using the IP addresses. The one you typed in initially would be on the left and the other one on the right.
Your IP address 192.168.1.1 is what is being used by the login page to access the internet. When you type in your IP address 192.168.1.1 while you are connected to the internet, it is sent to the router along with your username and password. The router checks the IP 192.168.1.1 and checks whether it belongs to an IP address that is already in use by someone or it is a new IP address. If it is a new IP address, then it will ask you for your username and password. This is where you will be redirected to.
These IP addresses will be mapped to a particular network adapter. If your router has only one network adapter, it will be connected to the local loopback. If you have multiple network adapters, you can connect them to different subnets. Just make sure you are connecting your router to the loopback through a trusted device.
You will have to type your new router's IP address and its default username into the "other table" field. For step 3, you can choose" IPMI" or "PCI". If you want to change your username, you can simply click on the "Change" button next to the word" IPMI". If you would like to change your IP, you can click on "IP settings" next to "other table".
