
The Belgian branch of Gaming1 will collaborate with CVC. The company's goal is to eventually become an international player in the gambling market. Gaming1 is already a well-known name in the Benelux, as it is the operator of the Circus Casino.
The new partnership with CVC Capital Partners was announced by Gaming1. The game company released a press release stating that the ultimate goal is to achieve international success. However, Gaming1 is currently already active in several countries, including Belgium, France, and Portugal. It seems likely that the company's games will soon also be available on the Dutch online gambling market.
CVC Capital Partners is valued at over $100 billion. It is not the first time that the English company has entered into a partnership with another gambling company. The company previously decided to enter into a partnership with Sky Bet, Tipico and Sisal, among others.
Gaming1 is part of the Ardent Group. This is a company from Liège that, in addition to games of chance, also focuses on IT, real estate, LED lighting, energy, catering and alcohol. Gaming1 became a great success, as it is currently the market leader in the Belgian gaming market. The company focuses on casino games, sports betting and poker. This concerns land-based games and online casino games of chance. In 2019 Gaming1 managed to record a turnover of 250 million euros.
The Ardent Group therefore owns 12 land-based casinos in its own country and France. The company also operates around 30 arcades. Some well-known casinos of Gaming1 are Casino de Spa and Casino de Namur. Online games of chance have also been offered since 2011, after the Circus Casino was allowed to open its doors.
Remarkably enough, there are also bowling centers and football halls that know the name Circus. The casino currently partners with several other well-known casinos from the country, including PokerStars and Carousel.
