Regional Anesthesia
Journal of Anesthesiology & Clinical Science Open access Journal covers special section Regional Anesthesia aims to provide scientific studies and clinical investigations to advance the information and understanding novel techniques applied in regional anesthesia for perioperative pain, surgical and postoperative management. The scope of the section includes central and peripheral techniques such as neuraxial techniques, nerve blocks, intravenous regional blocks, head and neck block, classic block techniques, ultra sound-guided techniques and nerve stimulator techniques.
Epidural Anesthesia / Spinal Anesthetia
Epidural Anesthesia or Spinal Anesthesia is a form of regional anesthesia done by injecting a local anesthetic or blocks near spinal cord. It is particularly for patients undergoing lower belly and leg surgeries. Medicine is injected to fluid sac around spinal cord in Epidural Anesthesia and inside spinal cord in Spinal Anesthesia to numb the part and remove pain.

Local Anesthesia
Local Anesthesia is a technique that induce numbness in a particular local area by administration of local anesthetics. It helps patients to get rid of pain and distress caused during minor surgeries like dental and other surgical procedures, Local anesthetics like Procaine, Lidocaine, Tetracaine are administered intravenously which act on nervous system and block pain signals.

Regional Blocks
Regional Blocks are widely used to reduce pain by injecting local anesthetics in a specific area that require surgery. There are different types of regional blocks like Specific Nerve Blocks, Ophthalmic nerve blocks, Brachial Plexus Block, Paravertebral blocks that numbs only particular area of body.
