Figure 4 : HR-QCT image acquired at 60 kV (a), and conventional MDCT images acquired at
80 kV (b) and 140 kV (c). As tube potential was increased, image quality improved due to
greater penetration and decreased scattering of photons, resulting in an improved
signal-to-noise ratio.
